先说他们的效果。过了光膜和哑膜的纸由于上面多了一层塑料膜，所以比没过的摸起来手感要光滑，要厚些，硬些，而且不容易撕烂。所以不管从品质上，外观上来说都要比没过的不少。辨别的方式是可以吧纸张撕开一个小口，有过膜的上面就会与一层膜，（如下图）

根据我们过往的经验，发现在很早之有比较多的客户要求过光膜，但是渐渐的大家都觉得太亮显的俗气，所以现在过哑膜的相对要多，大家觉得过哑膜显得深沉一些。

下面再说说一般什么情况下使用。

既然过出来的纸张又厚又硬，肯定不适合在内页，所以一般是封面才用，而且普通的产品说明书用的都比较少。一般是比较的，客户要求比较高的，才会使用。因为使用这个工艺会使每一本产品说明书的成本多出2毛左右。具体跟印刷数量，是单面过胶还是双面过胶等因素相关。而使用的比较多的产品就是画册，产品目录等彩色印刷的印刷品。
