合版印刷相对于专版印刷，合版印刷的优势使单价比较低，少量可制作，交货速度快。但鉴于合版印刷采用网络传版，集中印刷，分摊费用的方式，也存在缺失，在合版印刷中难免会造成色差的问题。因合版印刷为多个客户档案拼版印刷，因此无法考量单一客户对颜色要求及调正，如拼在重墨区时，颜色即会偏重，一般来说合版印刷会有约略10%的印刷色差，就算是同一印刷档同一印刷纸质，每批多少也会存在着色差。
